    Hey everyone:
I am going to look at the 2019 Tacomas tomorrow but had a question for the pros here.
One thing I need this truck for is to haul a 1951 Chevy 3100 about 900 miles. The truck weighs 3200 lbs and the trailer will be around 2000 lbs. Can the 2019's handle this? I am looking into the Sr5 or Sport models.

    Thank you!

I believe the tow capacity for your truck with tow package is over 6500 lbs., maybe 6700 or there about. So yes you can tow that 5200 lbs. it shouldn’t be a problem. I wouldn’t want to routinely tow that much weight.

One time tow. Get the job done . The tranny is your friend. Use it , and don't abuse it . You may find it a had stressful in traffic and on grades .
    Good luck .
