I lost track thousands of dollars ago.
The first of many #bamf is officially in the bumper business. We have been asked many times if we are going to be building bumpers and the answer is always when I can find the time. Well that time has come. I spent about 150 hours in Solidworks, 5 failed prototypes and this is what we get.

With Pelfreybilt going out of business and us winning the auction of their abondonded property. We are stuck with a lot of unfinished product that we need to make parts for in order to sell. I already had to design the side wings for 40 12 to 15 Tacoma center sections we have in my shop. So I decided to finish a whole bumper in the process.
The bumper fallows the visual lines of the now discontinued #jerryberrybought bumper but this is all bamf. We made the bumper slimmer, recessed the fairlead, bumped the light bar to 30", square fogs, gusseted the wings better to take a hit and the biggest thing it's a real plate bumper. 1/4" winch plate and reinforcement brackets. And a 3/16" outer skin so this bumper can take a beating no 10 gauge on our bumpers.

Can't tell from the photo. Does this new bumper have a lower bolts? I know the old Pelfreybilt bumpers had lower bolts at the bottom of the bumper into the crossbar.

There are lower bolts possible to install but since the reinforcement plates are still in R&D I haven’t bothered to put them in.

Are you going to offer a single hoop option as well? Pics, if you have any?

    And the reinforcement brackets people

And here are the reinforcement brackets. Compact light and strong! Formed from a single peice and heavily gusseted.
Fully capturing the frame locking the bumper in place. And the best part about it is you dont have to worry about hacking your resi mounts up like you have to do with the other bumpers on the market.

SOLID! And probably a lot easier to mount than the L bracket Pelfreybilt had for the lower part of the bumper. Those were a bitch to bolt in through the tiny hole in the bumper.

    Got my order in.

Really it would be more to install. You still go through that little hole on the back and two other bolts as well. I install this set in about 10min so not too bad.

I'm in. Should have hit you up at basecamp, but I wouldn't be me if I didn't drag my feet a little.
