But, glad to hear the clutch feels better. Any gains with the headers?

Oh she's been full send for a while there bud lol... It's hard to tell because I removed the cats, and I'm also .20 over so any gains that I got would not necessarily translate to other 2.7 trucks. It definitely feels more peppier, although I'm sure I'm loosing a bit with the very flow through exhaust. I'm most likely gonna put a flowmaster delta 50 on the truck in the coming weeks

Yeah .20 would definitely negate any reference to performance. How are you going to button up the Flowmaster? Is it still going to be a cat delete?

Still just chugging away.. over 1500km on the engine now, not a single issue!! Gonna throw the skids back on next week, also I'm changing the muffler I can't stand the MF anymore I now wear ear plugs when I drive, gonna order up a flowmaster delta 50 hopefully it brings the drone down, also gonna order an oil filter sandwich as I give up trying to find the mystery metric fitting to make a proper T work with my remote mounted oil pressure gauge.

Well if the clutch wasn't broken in before it is now lol went exploring today ended up finding snow and a bunch of old forgotten trails mixed in with a quest to find an old fire lookout tower

    IMG_20190414_101133_975_04eb2f998498b5c634645e826c8104a158de8642.jpg

Also the tob provided in the Lce clutch kit is rattling around, it's only noticable at idle if everything is dead silent, can't do anything about it, just gonna send it.. also this clutch is nice I was worried it was gonna be an on/off switch it's not at all. It grabs hard but I can slip it if needed... Exhaust has to go.. lol

Sooo I got a written warning about my exhaust lol, luckily I had a business card from the guys who fixed my exhaust the other week. Told him I was heading there next week for an appointment to switch the muffler cause i don't like this one. The fact I was wearing ear plugs made the guy laugh. Gave the Cop the full sob story about the engine and getting married in June and oh the pressure.. he said ok just get it quieter, I said that's what the wife said, he went back to his car laughing, so I ordered a new muffler lol.. also ordered an oil filter sandwich from urd to get the remote mount oil pressure sensor hooked up

Whole thing could have gone sideways lately the police have been ordering full safety inspections on any modded vehicles so I'm glad this guy was cool

Good to see you back out on the trails. Good looking dog by the way.

Everyone says it sounds great outside the truck but I was coming up a hill in second soooo it was getting loud lol.. hoping the flowmaster delta 50 brings it down, Theo is the wife's family dog, he's 6 he never gets to go out and just roam when he comes with me he gets to just wonder in the bush, he needs a little toughening up he's been pampered too much but he's still a good boy

No leaks and a shiny new filter

I did spring a leak here causs I got distracted and didn't finish tightening the hose fitting. I used high temp vht to seal the thread at all the connections. Including the two block offs as the adapter comes with 3 ports.

I wish our motor had the oil filter right on top like the v6 lol. Such a PITA. Glad your truck is happy though. When does the new exhaust go on?

Thanks for posting this and working it out. Will be adding this to my gauge upgrade list.
So where is the trip planned for this year? You usually make an epic journey somewhere for which I am very jealous but also happy as hell someone gets to do it!
    Awesome progress!

Thanks man!!! The encouragement I've been getting here, locally and on my own instagram really helps push through some of these tiny items!!

This year we are going to Iceland !!! Sadly I cannot bring the Toyota cause that would be epic and costly lol.. rented a Subaru Forester with an RTT and gonna be driving the country as far off the track as the subie will take us!!!

Still haven't replaced the muffler f the police lmao just kidding it's on my very long list of things to do.

Still struggling planning this Iceland trip, taking a Subaru around dirt roads for two weeks has me uneasy.

In the meantime been putting the truck to use. First no snow weekend at my buddies cabin.

So then this past Friday we had a fundraiser for a local Bctoyota4wd guy who's having a rough time. So out came the flex ramp at the pub

Saturday a buddy rang me up and asked if I wanted to go find a secret nuclear fallout bunker made by a prepper back in the 70s. So I packed the truck in 15 minutes and ran out the door.

The scramble in is not easy. The whole compound is designed for defense. It's crazy tons of choke points and fall back areas, you need to take a cable car to get to the house. It has its own hydro dam to power the whole compound. There's workshops in another area but we were unable to get to it. It's an out of this world place. The geological composition of the area makes it basically immune to nuclear fallout the builder was a little eccentric to say the least
