Most people did not need them so he dropped the parts and the price of the kit. They are resisters to stop hyper flash

I need to update the ad, but the resistors are now an optional item.(i dropped the price on the entire kit to save people $$) You will probably NOT need them as most trucks function perfectly normal without.
looks great! Shows how much better the LED fills the bucket reflector vs the halogen

Reverse pods have been removed along with the prototype harness and all incandescent bulbs. I used some plugs I had to cap the resistor plug which is not needed for my truck.

This is great work and pro ides enough light output to be seen at any time day or night. Well worth the wait and the cost. Thanks to the friend.and member that helped me out lnding a kit and a big thanks to @MESO for research, design, and quality production.

If anyone is interested in the relocation prototype PM me and we can discuss possible details.

Just s an FYI all of these were taken starting at about 8am. Sun was fully up and still low enough to be at my back as I took the pics.

    Hyper flash question.
I just installed Stage-1 kit w/ resistors and tested with truck engine on/off with no issues!
The people that had hyper flash issues. Did the hyper flash happen immediately or later on while driving?
    -Thanks

Only when truck is started because the voltage changes once running.
If if functions fine with truck on and off you’re good to go:thumbsup:

So glad I went with the stage deuces. The stage 1s are nice, but the deuces blow them out of the water it looks like.

For me, there are two situations where I get hyper flash. One is when in reverse and using either turn signal. The other is occasional/intermittent when in drive and using the left turn signal. I have not yet installed the load resistors, but plan to for at least the left side.

Just installed the S2 tail lights and what a difference it makes! Great product @MESO . I used a hot knife to cut and melt the plastic and jb qwikweld to glue it in. I did get some flakes in each tail light, but I can live with that

well @MESO taillights are clearly a hot commodity and i can't get my hands on any (unless someone has some used ones for sale :p); so i need a back up. Are there any other taillights out there that people have NOT had issues with. Tacomabeast has some decent set ups but i keep reading about leaking issues. same with winged but honestly tacombeast is only company (besides meso) that i like. Any other suggestions or recomendations?

You’ll get a set of meso’s. Just have to be patient. He is producing more and more every time. Everything he puts out is in high demand because it’s quality and top notch. You won’t be disappointed when you get a set.

Oh I’m certain I’m the quality being on point for sure! I’ve had my taco for 4 days and have been all over the forum here checking things out. Have heard nothing but positive from @MESO i thought I read somewhere though he’s working on red this time and not clears. I’m actually trying to rid the red to clear or maybe a lighter smoke. But then again, I may change my mind when I see the reds lol

Oh my bad, your talking about his retrofit tail lights. I thought you were talking about his total taillight kit on this page.

His “bro pro” taillights are bad ass , and very labor intensive. I’ve been wanting a set ever since they have came out. I’ll probably never be lucky enough to snag a set though, lol.

I finally got some time to install my S2 setup this weekend. They work great and the install was a breeze. No resistors were needed for my setup.

The tail light housing modification was no big deal with a hot knife (xacto and torch), but if I were to do it again, I would be more careful of plastic chips dropping into the housing. I was able to get almost all of them out, but it took as much time to clean them out as it did to do everything else. This is probably not an issue for non-Limited tail lights, since they won't be clear/chrome to show off the little black specks.
