So I haven't received messages from anyone saying they can go, but I'll still be headed out there tomorrow. I'll hang out around the northern entrance till 11. I hope I can see some of you out there!

Well, it was unfortunate nobody could show today, but it was fun making my way from the north entrance to the south entrance doing some of the side trails along the way. Bit off damn near more than I could chew on some of them. I managed to teeter on my front driver and rear passenger tires making my way around a rough spot, not to mention a 3 point turn for a tiny switchback, as well as having to take a line that earned me some pinstripes and a ride at 30° leaning driver (ish, maybe exaggerating cause I've never done something like that before) in order to avoid bashing a crossmember on a rock. All together a fantastic trip, and all with 2wd. I hope to see some of you guys out there next time. I'm glad I got that new bumper but next is definately a pair of sliders.

The only photos I got were walking back to the truck after walking a trail. I really wanted to take some that would have been AWESOME but theres no way in hell I'd get out of the truck perched how it was. I also found the mud pit area, but I wouldn't touch it with a 10.5 foot pole. Keep in mind, crappy samsung photos

What was the route you took exactly?

Just looked it up as I've never heard of Knoxville OHV Park; may have to drive it sometime later down the road but it's 4 hours away.

I go all the way to lower lake, then down Morgan valley road until it turns into knoxville berryessa road. You can go straight through barryessa but that road is trashed and involves minor to major water crossings in winter seasons.
It's a nice park, almost anything with a bit of ground clearance can drive through the main road, but theres lots off offshoots for real trails

Nice to see the 2wd can handle the trials in Knoxville. Lost coast was pretty wet a few weeks ago but probably plenty dry by now.

Happy to provide suggestions. I have done a lot of dual sport riding out here when I was living in Cachagua (Salinas now).

I would join you, but my truck is more of a grocery getter than an off-roader. It's an older 99, 4 banger, 2wd, rock trimmer/root smasher/etc...not really meant for any of our dirt roads, unfortunately.
