Does anyone know if the 5 star FN wheels have the same center caps as the BFD's?

Digging the powder coated lug nuts. Subbed for a reminder. Accenting my MGM rig with black and yellow to match my CA 60s plates. Blacking my fair lead and winch hook. Yellowing my wheel spacers and d-rings and about to order a complete set of black/yellow decals from cboy. Might just do the lugs now, damn you.

I picked up a set of these caps and they DO NOT work with the BFDs. I will have to figure out some other way to make these caps work with the BFDs.

EDIT: I have bora wheel spacers and still no go...

@Jpiskura Post photos or PM me the issue that you're having when trying to make the cap fit.

The trd cap may not be the right diameter for every wheel design but the diameter of the cap should be consistent as should be hub diameter of the bora spacer.

If i recall correctly, the cap basically snaps into the spacer. Next time i pop a wheel off, ill snap photos for documentation.

In the first photo, the black ring is the lip of the Borra spacer hub. You can even see the mark on the bora spacer where the tab(s) of the cap are "biting" into.

Snap the cap into place and everything is pressure fitted. I havent lost a cap yet.

If you look at post #50, right above my last post those are the caps I purchased. I heard somewhere on here there is a mod to make those caps fit the BFDs. I haven't had a chance to look for it yet but I figured since people were just snapping them into the FN five stars that they would work on the BFDs with no modification. I was wrong. Its as if the TRD caps are a size to small for the inner diameter of these BFDs

Sounds like the design of the wheel where the hub centerbore is large in diameter.

The other trick is to "sleeve" the trd caps to increase the OD diameter slightly. I did it that way on my old FN wheels when i didnt have the Boras.

Once again, if you have photos of your issue, it would help.

I just bought a set of matte black countersteer offroads. Though my truck isn't a TRD trim so I don't want to put TRD caps on it nor would the color look good with my setup. Is there any Konig caps that fit these off their website? Or would the only way be to have them custom made? I was hoping they'd have the crown logo or say konig somewhere
