Esp. if you are traveling to higher elevations. Water can make or break elevation sickness.

All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
My buddy has a Sportsmobile! Bad to the bone.

So I won’t get into details but a good friend of mine rolled his 4Runner this weekend. It ran for about 60 seconds on its drivers side before being shut off. He says it’s got a loud tick now. How likely is it that the motor is done? I am doubtful that was enough time at idle speeds to do any permanent damage... unless being on its side caused it to potentially hydrolock with oil?? I’m not sure if that’s the case though bc he shut it off, it didn’t shut itself off. 4.0l v6...

Also, if anyone knows of a junkyard that will have 07 black t4r parts let me know. Or if anyone is parting out one with good drivers side panels/doors/etc.

In the immortal words of Crocodile Dundee “That’s not a fence...this is a FENCE!”

Finished it up last night. Triple hinged each gate, to hang the huge 7’x8’ gates. That’s right I have a 14’ Drive thru, for my truck and trailer. I make them this big so I can pull my buddies dump truck back here to dump material.

Zero wood was put in the ground, no more bs from twisting/broken posts.

I am super stoked, def the best fence I have built to date.

Alright, so a good chunk of tree fell on the hood of my Ford today. Fortunately it’s all cosmetic, just a bunch of dents. Couple of questions for the experts here:

    1) Can aluminum be repaired with PDR or something? Or is the only “real” way to fix it by replacing? Think hail damage.
    2) Anyone have a recommendation for a really good body shop?
    3) Is a claim against my comprehensive gonna affect my premiums? I’ll ask the agent tomorrow but figured I’d ask here so I might know what to expect.

    1. It can be fixed but depending on the amount of damage it may be cheaper to replace.
    2. My some does paint/body in South Georgia and is really good but depending on where you are it may not be worth the trip.
    3. I've never had a comprehensive claim should never raise my rates but depending on your insurance company your mileage may vary...

In my experience, a non-driving claim should not raise your rates. Neighbors trampoline took out the side of my truck a couple years back. I tried to file under their homeowners insurance but that got denied. I had no option other than to use my coverage. My rates did not change.

Check out Huck’s new Dog House.
