    It’s me again.

    Some of y’all might have seen my regular cab build on here before (TonkaTaco). I’ll post a link if you’re interested. Anyway, as of a week ago (May 2nd) I said goodbye to my old friend, thanks for all the memories, and hello to this beauty.

    I traded my modded out 2006 Regular Cab for a 2019 Cement TRD Off Road.

    Im not new by any means to the off-road scene, but each build gets a little cleaner, and a little better. That’s the plan with this one. Keep it clean, and functional.

    F4BFE224-48B9-4683-B5B5-F88C70383AF9.jpg

    The plan is the usual:
    - Bumper up front to accommodate a winch.
    - Rear bumper, probably high clearance again.
    - Sliders
    - 2ish inch lift
    - 33’s
    - Skids

    I’m loving everything about this truck so far, power windows, power locks, automatic transmission, space, power, you name it, I love it (minus having payments again, Haha).

    Nice! It’s the best, but I’m biased. Haha Congrats on your purchase!

    It’ll be a slow build, but it’ll be worth it.

    Took it on it’s first road trip up to Nebraska yesterday. Went to the Omaha Zoo and saw all the flooding still. It’s crazy insane. Anyway, it was a buggy mess so I cleaned it today. 5CC747AB-213F-47F9-88BB-FD38D62B72B8.jpg 98C524D6-87F3-4CFC-8BB0-E58C7FA2C06A.jpg B6044D97-8488-47C9-99E5-C85D2FCDEB45.jpg 15BAD213-676D-4668-917F-A134DAD8DB78.jpg 4B887202-E802-4875-BA56-DA00D82C7A6E.jpg

    Haven't really done too much to the truck lately, been busy with school/work/life/being poor. So all the stuff I've done so far has been mainly free. I removed the flaps, installed a remote start, blacked out the grill. I did happen to escape for about 3-4 weeks between semesters in August to go on an adventure. The truck did amazing. Took it to Denver, Estes Park, Yellowstone, Tetons, Salt Lake City, Moab (voyage offroad trip), Arches, Canyonlands. I'll post pictures when I get around to it.

    Anyway, I have started to buy some goodies to start somewhat of a build. So stay tuned (if ya want).

    Black Friday is really going to do me dirty this year. My heart already hurts thinking about my bank account. It's fine though, everything's fine. Haha

    Just pulled the trigger on a Bilstein lift and an All-Pro gas skid from @Wheeler's Off-Road Inc.

    Still on the list during "Black Friday":
    - Bumpers front and rear from @CBI Offroad Fab
    - Skid set, also from CBI.
    - Tires.
    - @ARCHIVE Garage shackle flip kit.
    - A cab rack (which I had no intentions of getting, but since they are on sale and look cool, why not? Haha)
    - Since I'm getting a rack, might as well get a lightbar as well.

    My parts pile is really starting to add up. I already have my custom wheel spacers from and inch body lift waiting in the garage to be put on.

    Looking forward to watching this build come together. I’m in the same boat, bank account going to be dwindling here very soon

    @ARCHIVE

    I saw that! That’s why I’m eager to pull the trigger this week so I don’t miss out. I knew I wanted your products on this build as well, no better time to do it.

    I’ve been going back and forth between the HH and the SF. I’ve seen lots of good things and seen/watched what you’ve posted about the HH. However, you know how I had the SF on the red truck, and I loved the performance and added lift of them.

    I’m honestly just torn between which ones to get, but I honestly trust you, you make them, Haha. You know the type of off-roading and trails I go on too (rocks/crawling/technical stuff).

    I’m all about doing HH on this truck if you think it’s the better option and I can still get the performance.

    So I went with the 6112 up front and B110 in the rear.

    Thank you! I’m eager to finally get it going. Now I just have to wait forever for everything to ship.

    Hammer hangers will give you better ride quality, makes it ride more carlike, and better corner handling and weight hauling as well. Hh do not lift, but can increase the droop travel somewhat with stock springs (low arch springs)

    @ARCHIVE So say I did end up going with the HH, would I be able to run stock springs for a little?

    Also, what springs would you recommend I pair with the HH to get the most travel (droop and up-travel)? I've been trying to pick through the threads to see what everyone else was doing, but figured I'd ask the man himself.

    Yeah, stock springs are a great combo with Hh, especially for ride and handling, you'll love it. You'll feel like you can attack corners and pick up the speed off road. Only thing with stock springs is they don't gain much droop because they are so flat. Aftermarket springs, the only options I would consider is Deaver U402 and Dobisons and maybe in 2021 Archive will offer springs (HD and MD)

    Awesome, sounds good. I don’t plan on rally racing my truck anytime soon. Haha I’ll definitely be looking at some aftermarket springs after a while so I can get some added droop for crawling.

    I’ll put my order in this week. Can’t wait to have your product on another one of my builds. :cheers:

    (P.S. - Does the Tacoma World discount apply with the November sale, or is that asking too much? Haha Asking for a friend.;))

    Black Friday was a bad day for my wallet. . .

    Ordered:
    @CBI Offroad Fab bumpers front/rear, set of their skids, and an ARB Single Compressor mount.
    Nitto Tires.
    @Mobtown Offroad sliders
    Martin Offroad Cab Rack
    @CaliRaisedLed 42" Lightbar w/harness and mount

    Still on my list:
    Archive Hammer Hangers (or Shackle flip) still can't make up my mind.
    ARB Single Compressor

    Alright, after much debating, research, and Eric putting up with all my questions, I've pulled the trigger on some @ARCHIVE Hammer Hangers.
