The GlamTaco Prerunner 4x4 Long Travel Something Something Thread

I want bed drawers but don’t have time to make my own, so I ordered a 53” and 41” ARB drawer for bed storage. The 53” showed up but the 41” was returned damaged before even delivering. Went ahead and installed the 53”, only took about 30 minutes. Drilled through the bed and bolted it in place.

The 41” on the driver side will leave room for my Yeti 105 at the front with the side window access.

It’s almost done, just gotta weld the resi and limit strap mounts tomorrow, so no jumping until then but it rides awesome . I’ll get better pics when finished.

 

Damn you did some major cleaning and looks like some painting of the frame! Looks good what length kit did you go with?

Finished . I had some 1.5” wheel spacers that came off the glamrunner, so I threw those on the back.

 

My Indel B 50qt fridge didn’t fit on top of the drawer, and we are always filling it to the top, so I decided to get the ARB 63qt since it is a little shorter, but holds more. I mounted it to an Alucab tilting slide for easy access. Still waiting on my 43” drawer for the driver side, the original shipment was damaged in transit.

 

Finally figured out mah password bish. Your truck is still a prerunner.

The other drawer finally came in. Camping/beach chilling setup is complete.

 

Very nice glad you put those wheel spacers in the rear. I just think the trucks that have a noticeably wider stance in the front or rear look a little goofy. Very nice set up! If the new Marlin LT kit doesn't make any headway soon I'll be looking to hear your thoughts on how the +2 kit is for more flex, ride quality, etc.

 

So far I like the ride a lot more than the Icons I replaced.

 

Ordered a set of Mastercraft Courser MXT 315/75r17.

 

But we won't be brethren anymore...

 

No more Carolina squat. I put in some Deaver U402 Stage III springs from Headstrong Offroad.
