Anyone have pics of Avid Offroad Sliders with kick out and top plates?

Realized I never posted, Here are some pics. Really like them, I have been off-road with them but haven’t had to use them yet. That said they are awesome, really happy with them. They also did a great job on the suspension.

 

Thank you for posting pictures. How far out would you say the sliders stick from the farthest part of the door?

 

When I get gone tonight I will use a level and tape measure to give you a good answer on the center and kickout. That way furthest for norm and for kickout.

Does this help, if need more info let me know. So far these have been awesome, that said I’ve avoided any major hits to them so far. My skid plate has not been so lucky, but avids gear is awesome.Zero complaints, actually ordered a bed rack from them not too long ago and they did my suspension which has been really nice off-road. Powder coat is really good to so when my bumper comes in from southern style I was going to have them coat it with the rack.

 

Did you pick these up in AZ or were they mailed to you? Also, do you know if these are DOM? I didnt seem to find that on the website.

I think it’s easier to just run over plus they did my suspension so it was a big change after I got it back. They are a good group of guys and the work is quality. Also made in AZ is a big plus to me.

 

All sliders are 1 3/4 .120 wall HREW

This is more than sufficient for the weight of the Tacoma.

HREW vs DOM
The difference between Hot Rolled Electric Welded vs Drawn Over Mandrel is strength. To be blunt, HREWs cost is less and is more than strong enough to handle the full weight of the Tacoma slamming down on a boulder (ask me how I know)

I've been running our sliders for 7 years now between two rigs. Sure they are scratched and a bit dented but they have protected me from certain rocker panel destruction on a few occasions now.

If you are planning to really get into the rocks, we can go with a .180-.250 wall but that adds a lot of weight and some cost. We have built them for locals.

So did you have to reach up inside the boxed in area of the frame? To put the front bolts in.

 

Does anyone know if these are mounted in the same way the Mobtown heavy duty sliders are?

 

I can take some pictures when I get back but I don’t know how mobtown mounts theirs.
