Lots of road trips planned this summer and would like to do a new audio setup for the travels. Getting a little tired of not having the iPhone hooked up while driving.

Hows this setup look? Anything else I'd need to get it wired and installed?

Right now the Pioneer AVH-W4500NEX would be my choice as well.
    * Might want to get some USB panel mount stuff, this unit has two rear USB connections
    * Make sure you're not interested in the OBDII, or steering wheel control functionality of the Maestro unit before you skip on that.
    * If you listen to SAT radio, you'll need to make arrangements for that as well.

Amp looks good - Amp wiring kit? Speaker wire?
Speakers look good - I think you'll probably be unhappy with the speaker mounting brackets, consider having some made.

I got some speakers for one of my kid's car and I used the plastic speaker mounting brackets Crutchfield sent (maybe not those exactly) and they were total garbage, which is why I mention it.

If youre willing to pay that much for your speakers, I HIGHLY recommended you go with Focal PS165fx up front, and PC165f in the back.

I had that receiver on my old truck and was very impressed with it until someone broke in and stole it a month after I bought it. Damn thieves.... still makes me mad thinking about it.

    Any recommendations on speaker brackets?

I figured I could add the steering wheel control later if I miss that functionality?

As for wiring, I was going to grab one of the random crutchfield wiring kits.

I got mine from @hookedontronics but that was in 2010 and it looks like he hasn't been active since 2015. If I was to do another truck right now I'd probably contact Taco Tunes and get something from them. It wouldn't hurt to throw some deadener in the doors either.

Ya got me beat. Once I got the front doors and rear wall done, I wrapped up the stereo install and put 'er back on the road to go to work with the intent of revisiting at least the back doors and totally blew it off. I'm thinking of doing more stereo stuff to the truck but frankly I'm too lazy and my stereo still works great so I don't have a good excuse either. I really want the Maestro thingy and a DSP though.

I think yours will turn out really good.

    Thanks!

I'd say to get back to it. You'll be glad once you do.
I did it to mostly kill road/wind noise (rain drops on the roof were driving me nuts....tin can!) But it makes a huge difference overall.

I had the 4400 and PDXV9 amp in my last truck. Solid stuff....wished I hadn't sold it now.
