    TW NorCal,

I'm selling my 2002 Subaru Impreza WRX wagon. The vehicle has been excellently maintained for the past 7 years. Clean title. I am the third owner and purchased it around 100,000 miles; the vehicle now sits at 164,769 miles. I bought the car stock and have done all the upgrades myself. For a 17 year old car, it's in good shape mechanically and physically - there are some minor scratches and dents on the exterior but nothing major. I have kept the interior of the vehicle as clean as possible. The engine runs strong and has plenty of life left. All major scheduled maintenances have been completed up to the 120k service (including timing belt, water pump, and valve/head cover gaskets). I have religiously changed the oil every 5k miles with Shell Rotella T6 5W-40 and used OEM filters. AC blow cold. Below is a list of upgrades which I have added throughout the years:

    Engine:
    -KOYORAD Racing radiator w/ hoses
    -Cusco radiator heat shield
    -COBB Racing Cat Back exhaust
    - SPT High Flow Air Intake
    -Mishimoto intercooler silicon hoses

    Suspension:
-Koni Yellow Strut Inserts - front and rear (comes with dampening adjustment tool)
    -RaceCompEngineering Wagon Springs
-Whiteline top hats - front and rear
-Whiteline sway bars - front and rear
-Whiteline endlinks - front and rear
-Cusco strutbars - front and rear

    Brakes:
    -Cusco Brake Cylinder Stopper
-Brake pads replaced at 130k miles
    -Rotors resurfaced at 130k miles

    Drivetrain:
-Exedy OEM Replacement Clutch installed at 130k miles
-Exedy OEM Replacement Flywheel installed at 130k miles
-Kartboy Short Throw Shifter and bushing combo

    Interior:
-STi cluster swap (purchased through NASIOC and recalibrated to correct milage)
    -Alpine CDE-141
    -JDM Hazard lights switch
    -Kartboy Shift knob
    -Auto-dimming rear view mirror
    -Subaru floormats

    Exterior:
-JDM Halogen Headlights (needs a buffing but still in great shape)
    -Paint matched side skirts
    -Front lip (cracked in half)
    -Lamin-X yellow on foglights
    -Window rain visors

    Tires:
-Bridgestone Potenza (installed around 145k miles at Costco, tons of life left)

I hate to sell the car, but I bought a Tacoma. It would be great for a project/track car.

    Asking Price: $5,850.00.

    Located in the East Bay.

    Thanks!

Dang $7k! I've got a 06 Legacy GT LTD 5 speed with lots of upgrades collecting dust in my garage. Need to replace the clutch and sell so this is motivation to do it asap. GLWS!

What’s your gas mileage looking like? I’m interested and looking for a potential daily.

It’s anywhere between 20-22 depending on how it’s driven.

I’d assume it had a head gasket replacement before you bought it? It’s not on your list.

It was done alongside the valve cover gaskets. Sorry, I will add that to my post!

My cousin used to have one of these before someone wrecked it while it was parked on the street. From time to time he'd go visit his family in HK and I'd have it for a month or two to keep the juices flowing, so to speak. I'd be filling up once every two days. My daily commute was about 40 miles total on top of whatever I got in canyon runs.

I think my average mpg was 11-13 mpg during those months. :burnrubber:
