FF kit photos. Only thing I took out so far was the spray can, as I have used it a little.

    Same kit I have.
I did numerous vehicles and was surprised how little material I used.

Between kbvoodoo, and www.offroadtents.com I got my rtt installed tuesday.. I ordered both on 5/1.. had the rails installed on 5/6.. the tent arrived on 5/7, and installed it in the rain... delivery truck showed up as I was cleaning the interior, and prepping to wash the truck/bed...(explains the bottles of cleaner, and vacuum) started to rain when i tried to resume cleaning, so i installed the tent.... took a good hour by myself... mostly figuring out the brackets, and mounts as well as operation of the tent... other than the thin 2.5" foam mattress (adding a memory foam topper) the quality is excellent. 20190506_152934.jpg 20190507_134533.jpg 20190507_172624.jpg

About to make the move to Maine next week; who do you all use for tires in the Portland area?

    Not sure your intentions.
Most through the shop stay pretty much stock.

    Very few true off-roading vehicles...

I found buying tires on line and taking them to a local shop works best. Especially If you are looking to go bigger then stock. If your keep it stock or one size bigger any shop will work.

I use Sullivan tire in Falmouth (the 333 US Rt 1 location) myself cause its close enough to work and they're pretty good guys. Seems like they can actually turn a wrench most of the time without F*ing something up

I have falken AT3Ws right now and they performed fantastic but really underwhelmed by life and balancing issues. They took a ton of weight to balance, needed to be rebalanced after less than a year, and are at about 1/2 life at 12k miles. Not sure if that is representative of the whole or not.

Wife had Cooper AT3 4S and those seemed to perform about as good but with much better tread life. Ill probably go with those after these are done, unless I end up getting a winter set of wheels at which point I will go back to doing highway tire in summer and a snow tire in winter, which truly is the best thing to do if you have the $$$

Edit: Just noticed you asked "who" and not "what" for tires so my bad. Windham Auto in windham is really good but they are always booking at least a week out for even simple jobs. If I have the luxury of waiting and foresight I go there. Berlin City Toyota in Portland has been a good experience so far, nice waiting room and kind service staff. Cant speak for their work too much, ive only gotten the toyotacare stuff from them.

Otherwise throw a dart at VIP's and Sullivan tires and roll the dice.

Oh shit I totally read that wrong. You're asking about tires, not tire shops haha.

I run BFG KO2s. I personally have been impressed with them in the winter. But there are people on here who will tell you "they suck in the winter" so to each their own. Really it all comes down to what you want (mpg for highway, good winter, or good dirt / mud performance) I guess

I am really enjoying my Cooper Discover AT3 XLTs. I picked them up at Don Foshay's in South Portland. and felt they treated well.
