All my rigs are purpose built. From crawling to camping. I also enjoy a nice stock truck for what that’s worth. Toyota’s are the jam!
Good question. I don’t know off the top of my head, I got those fools on retainer. Lol

Your getting good with those gifs son. I like that one lol
Also, did you Craigslist 5010 by chance? If your rolling that high up in the budget, might wanna look at one in the Atlanta area. I have seen a couple built ones in your size and budget as of recent.

I appreciate it man. We already scoped out his ride from his videos. Plus I saw your post on the trail report when you did it. Can’t wait.

Next time we head out I’ll be sure to throw it out in the getting out weekly thread too. My wife and I have planned this for some time now to get out in the woods and unplug and unwind.

I was looking at the Georgia traverse.
That’s the problem is memorial day is right around the corner. I bet a lot of people already have plans as do I. We’re probably gonna look at doing something like that next year. Also I’d like to find somebody that Has road the Georgia traverse trail before. I’m not sure but I think there are certain times a year that you can ride the trail.

anyone have a good alignment shop in the Athens area? We are moving up that way and need to get mine redone and haven't had much luck with my firestone lifetime one... they always say they can only set it to the toyota specs that are pre-programmed in their computer

The manager at Firestone near the mall of georgia used to be the trainer. After several failed alignments by other firestone shops, he was able to coach his guys on how to do mine properly. His name was Mike Robb if you want to try giving him a shout. I know that isn't quite the Athens area, but might be worth a drive to get it right. Plus, you and your SO (if you have one) can walk over to the mall while you wait.

Shit bolted onto other shit, and junk.
Also of note, I bought the lifetime Firestone alignment four years ago. I have had over ten alignments done since paying for it. It is roughly the cost of two alignments.

Got it for $90. You're option is nice but my goal was cheap and simple. Not even 100% sure I'll ever even use it as I mostly just sleep in a tent on the ground but the opportunity came up so it got me thinking about one and guess I'll just always have it if I need it for those wet trips.

    Battery died today.

Thankfully, @Built2Ride didn't take the battery I had in the dual batt setup in our old 4Runner and the cables stretch to fit. If anyone needs a new battery, the dead one has a warranty and I was quoted $68 at Toyota Mall of Georgia for a replacement. I'm planning on picking up a dual battery tray at some point in the (hopefully near) future, so I don't want to purchase another Group 27F just to buy another Group 34 in a few weeks/months. I'll be happy to meet you up at the dealership after work and let you get a battery at the pro-rated price. They did say that it has to be on another 27F, but I figure that's probably what most of you guys have anyway.

On another note, I was looking for a breather valve to help out another Tacoma guy. I noticed my frame looked extra black in a few spots. Turns out, I have a torn CV boot. Yay.

Anyone here close to the Florida Georgia line? Mainly by Jax or st Mary's. Im thinking of moving out that way in a year or so. Are there any pools guys in the area? If so I'd like to pick your brain

You got one of those "hot pool guy fantasies?"

...or are you a pool guy and want to know the "quality of talent" in the area that might potentially have the hot pool guy fantasy?

I have been a repair technician on pool equipment for the last 10 years and I'm trying to figure out how the work/pay is out there for someone. And if the guys do everything or if theres companys that hire guys just to repair the equipment

Hey JB, I hope that you're well.

Sweet pup. Do you have a platform build under that cover or just the seat?

I'm planning a trip to Colorado with my dog and was thinking about building a platform.
