Congrats! about the kid I'm assuming, not missing out.
I was waiting at 4 and am order 8579 last order number I see posted is 8632. So I'd guess about 100 assuming I wasn't first and @Gat_ wasn't last.

Here's what I used. Soldering Pencil with modded tip. Slightly messy , just go slow. Good thing is there aren't any small pieces floating around. I stuffed a clean rag inside just in case . Pulled it back out when I was done. IMG_20190428_165608.jpg

Man I hope I didn't just bastardize my lights...the adapters are in but the first one has some gaps that I largely stuffed with JB Weld. The second one was a little cleaner and the fit was tighter. But damn, that scared the beejeezus out of me doing that work. There's still some melty slop visible when you look into the housing from the outside but I managed to get most of it. Be still, my beating heart.

Even if you don’t do a perfect cut, it’s on the backside. From the front it’s not really visible due to the clear plastic lens having diffusion “waves” built in. Hook it up and go!

This is true. It's really only noticeable when you look through the non-diffused portion at the bottom and even then it isn't super egregious but it is obvious that something was done. I'm still exciting for the big reveal tomorrow once everything is nice and dry.

I used a weller soldering gun with a cutting tip per another members recommendation in here and thought it worked pretty well. Congrats to everyone who got them today, stage 2’s are probably my favorite mod! They are the perfect brightness.

Does anyone have an extra set of triton adapters by any chance? Would be very grateful.

    Edit:
I used this one, looks like it’s still on sale for 42% off. It feels sturdy and heavy duty, and it’s not made in China like a few of the reviews say.

I put amber v6 tritons up front and no modifications needed
no resistors needed with that setup. Extremely happy with this led choice. I mean Meso picked it for good reason in the back so why not match the superiority up front!

I’ve ran the Tritons for as long as I can remember.. even back to the V3’s.
With only THREE LEDS of each color(switchback model) the optical efficiency is unmatched. I usually don’t endorse products, but when I do.. there’s a reason.
Congrats to everyone that got in on the stage 2 today! I got buried before the post office closed so all orders will go out manana.
For stage 1 guys... I’m hoping by next weekend. But don’t hold me to it because I have some other new products releasing next week:)

Just a note. A Soldering Pencil is way easier to manipulate than the Gun.
And Congrats on the Vendor Badge. Long Overdue

Stage 2 installed. My eyes have yet to be blinded but only because it's still daytime. The reverse and turns look super crisp. Very excited to do away with the horseshoe doing anything besides glow.

I'm telling you guys , get the Stage 2s. I know it's more money but I think you might be pleasantly surprised about the extra brightness.
