Two separate issues but just wanted to get some opinions...

First is what looks to be a power steering pump or timing cover leak. Took it into the dealer and they put some dye in both so we can monitor at a later date. This isn't a huge pooling leak, just something I noticed and wanted to see if others might come across the same issue.

Second. I installed my ADS 2.5 reservoir suspension and have had a pretty persistent clunk at times when the driver whe el hits a pronounced bump. Checked all of my bolts and finally realized the sway bar looks to be hitting some sort of frame brace. Passenger side clears with plenty of room. Any issues with throwing a washer under the main bolts so that the bar clears the brace? I'd like to keep the sway bar for the time being.

If one side has more room than the other, then you might want to loosen it up and try to straighten it out. Did it come with any relocation brackets?

And I have a similar leak. Hesitant to get it fixed by the dealer because I don’t want my engine pulled apart and put back together.

Are you able to get a photo of the spindle as well as the rest of the inner fender?

I would always just recommend getting rid of it but aside from that let's try to figure out how this is happening

Top one is most likely a timing cover leak. What's the MFG date (on the doorjamb sticker) of your truck.

Relocation brackets came with the kit which is what dropped the sway bar into the frame brace. I'm with you on the "don't want my engine pulled apart" but these guys get paid to perform this work and you have to have faith that they can successfully complete this type of work.

I'll see about grabbing one at lunch. I believe I have 650lb springs so removing the bar is definitely in the realm of possibilities. At this point I'm just trying to understand why the drive side frame brace is hitting while the passenger side is not.

I'll grab this at lunch too.

Im still having a hard time seeing any issue, but is that shock reservoir fitting leaking?

Not leaking. I'm going through my rust covering spring cleaning and the paint got a little heavy in that area and started to run.

The main issue is under the skid plate where the sway bar is making contact with a lower frame brace only on the driver's side.

Took the sway bar off today and can confirm it was hitting the frame brace. Little bit more roll when driving but I think I can live with it. Hopefully this might help someone else diagnose a suspension clunk
