Metal roof time ?

Fill a bowl with 1/2 cup water and 1 tablespoon white vinegar.

1. Microwave it for 4-5 minutes and leave it with the door shut for 10-15 minutes.
2. Steam will loosen smell-causing detritus stuck to the walls. ...
3. After the waiting period, remove the bowl and wipe the inside of the microwave down with a paper towel.

 

...been there a couple times (and a couple microwaves).

Yuppers! I have 2 roofers working the quote now. I've always wanted a metal roof and this confirms it for me. The asphalt shingles opened up like a zipper in the wind and are now sliding slowly downward. One roofer said the whole slope needs to be replaced, and since it's 30% of the roof that means the whole thing. If the insurance agrees then I'll add in my money to get a metal roof. The big question is cost, those things ain't cheap.

 

Ok Ca peeps. I have a friend up in Eureka on business and is an amateur photographer. He has a new Tacoma as a rental and would like to explore Thursday and take some pics. Nothing technical as he is not experienced with that. Any recommendations where he could go?

Go by the BLM and the USFS offices and get maps. Might also ask where it's safe. Safe is good.

I usually make some hot sauce when the peppers come on in the garden but this year im trying to make it like Tabasco,which is fermented peppers Im going to ferment the peppers just like Saurkraut in a crock.time will tell?

Not good, two days on the river did not catch a single croaker. Caught nice catfish but they don't win money. Top prize 2K went to a boat from Fort Loudon, about seven miles away from where I live. Weight of top fish+ .65 oz. Never had a year that we had no entry. If I recall correctly, only 8 boats out of 84 had croaker to enter. Sad. Theory is all the rain we have been getting introduced too much fresh water into the river causing croaker to stay out in the bay. But the sun was shinning, yellow labels were cold, life is good!
