Started to get a small grinding noise in my left front hub that also gave a small feedback in the steering wheel. We pulled over and took the wheel, caliper and rotor off and inspected the hub bearing. As I turned it, there was a small resistance in the same spot each rotation. We limped it back to Benson and I stayed with an old friend over the weekend. I ended up getting a dealership to install a new bearing and I started home yesterday. About 30 minutes into the five hour drive home the same grinding noise was back. That upset me so I just kept going. The hub never got warm and the noise never went away. I don't know what the issue is. The grinding sounds the same no matter what speed I was going and it is random.

Maybe the differential roller bearing on the DS?? I had a similar noise developing on mine before i had the diffs rebuilt with 4.88's. I had the ECGS bronze bushing
installed just to eliminate that as a possibility in the future. It seems to have fixed the problem...YMMV! Best of luck!

After my last trip out I made some changes.
First was to remove my rear swing out tire carrier. I wanted to see if I liked it gone. And because my fuel cans were mounted on it, I added a Front Runner dual fuel can mount to my rack. I also placed my spare and license plate up there out of the way as well.

And because I keep my tool roll and first aid kit in my cab, which is always in the way when my daughter rides in the back seat, I added an ammo can to the bed to hold them and other small items securely. I ordered a set of ammo can locking pins that will get placed on there later.

And yesterday I swapped out my 600# springs for a new set of 650# springs and raised the front of the truck a little.

    Hi trucks looking awesome.
Hows your oil filter relocation holding up??
I've been thinking about going a similar route. Not sure if I should splurge on the bilit alu or go with the cast .

So far I am loving it. The only thing I may change is replacing the oil pressure gauge with an electric version .

Thank you, it has been fun. I plan to finish the lower half of the AZBDR that I had to drop out of.

Where did you order those pins?? I have not been able to find any that look very secure...

    Thanks much!

I found it at Walmart, but I sent it back because it stopped working.
