    anyone know of any decent trails in idyllwild I did some research but not much on the web is there any trails there worth going ???

    Is that not in Riverside County; Pine Cove, and Fern Valley area? That's pretty much So Cal so I linked you to some So Cal guides.

    Look for NF MVUMs (motor vehicle use maps). This is pretty much your back yard, unless there's another Idyllwild...
