Probably easier to SAS and 5link/coil rear of taco. You would end up with similar results just longer wheel base.

I feel so old and busted. @twalchlii1 I think I'm catching up to you. Pissed off my back yesterday, pulled weeds and installed an 18-foot coax on the Tacoma today. Now I'm hurting like a son of a gun!
Observation: I don't remember where I had gotten my original passenger side rear antenna mount. But it was from the original designer and it's very solid. Unfortunately I got the driver's side from Cali Raised and it's a piece of crap. The metal is a lot thinner and bends easier.
I'm done buying anything from them.

I currently have a 3ft fire stick and bought a heavy spring for it, but what antenna do you think I should run back there? I think it's time to move up to something a little bigger.

Just got a shot in the L4L5 yesterday. Hope it works to stave off surgery
And make sure to stretch like Dr Brady says. It does help. 5 min or so is all it takes.

Old as in the first digit of your age starts with a "5" or a "6" like Tom?

Pulling weeds - hurts your back or hurts your backside from the wallet damage, you choose...

I started with the CBI ditch light mount for the drivers side for antenna but after Moab and the antenna hitting the windshield, I opted for a tailgate style mount from Rago; not as beefy as the CBI stuff but stout nevertheless.

4' Fire stick with the tuneable tip AND the 18' Fire Ring connector and spring with quick disconnect for hittin' up the mall.

I do those in my L5 S1 for a herniated disc. Sometimes they work sometimes they don’t. I’m 32 an in no way in hell im getting surgery on my back. I just had my shoulder redone in November of 17. The back sucks so bad though

Ordered the uniden cmx760. Scored it on eBay for $90 :spending:. Going to pickup another 3' firestik but instead of running dual phase antennas which would be a waste, I'll use the 2nd for terrestrial reception using a Motorola to coax adapter. My truck received the factory antenna delete via drive through carwash and the 10" stubby isn't cutting it. Also picked up some more fittings and black spray paint to finish my air tank setup.

Yeah, I have an entire litany of back issues, the worst of which is a 3cm L4/5 extrusion which resides outside of the spine and presses on the nerve root. Plus a bunch of stenosis, so the shots are just to get me thru summer. Surgery scheduled in fall after return from Portugal.
I’m 56 and degrading rapidly! Have to move to God’s waiting room soon! ( Florida)
