Anyone used or have used cutting brakes? Thinking of doing them to control the rear since everything will be on air lockers and think it'll help with turning. Looking for info on how to plumb cutting brakes and a line lock since i won't have a parking brake.

My understanding for plumbing is divert the lines coming from the master going to the rear to inside the cab to were ever the line lock or cutting brakes are and then run lines from the line lock/cutting brakes to the rear brakes? Correct or am i way off?

Anyone interested in a 1983 1st Gen yota rock crawler, with a 2rz and automatic swap, dual cases? Very well built.

Alright, I figure SOMEONE in This thread knows where I can find this info.

Can anyone point me in the right direction to find some info on putting a 4 speed Atlas into a 2nd Gen?

More specifically, If the floor needs to be modified, mounting the cable shifters, etc.

Thank you Sir. I’ll check that out. Don’t think I’ve ever been on there. Google is not helping, that’s for sure.

Best way to do it. I’ll be doing that once I back half the frame on my 4Runner

I think the procedure is take seats out, hack ginormous hole in floor, curse and sweat for a few days getting the case in, install shifters and install sheet metal until you no longer see the garage floor.
