Prospective Tacoma Buyer in Central FL

I'm looking to buy my son a 1st Gen Tacoma. My first Toyota Truck. Want smaller footprint which he likes and something easy to work on. Disregard previous. Looking forward to getting into this with him.

Did you guys ever find your boys their trucks?
We are a Toyota family. Me...2001 Tacoma; Wife...2015 Carolla S; Daughter #1...2004 Tacoma; Daughter #2...1998 4Runner.

 

Not yet.. still got a little while before actually making a purchase but def looking forward to it..

 

My daughter with the '04 was pretty lucky. When she turned 16 (yeah she's been driving it for almost 10 yrs now), her grandpa told her "If you come get, you can have it." So she and I flew to CA, and drove it back to FL. Not only did she get her papa's truck, we had a great road trip.
