What Have You Done To Your 2nd Gen Tacoma Today?

Horn relocation mod thanks @Cativelense and then mail showed up and got @AzogSS light bar and BAMF behind the grill light mount. Quick question I see a lot of people mounting there light bars in front of the transmission cooler. Any issues with cooling after doing that? I do tow a fishing boat and dont want any issues.

Looks to me like right at 3”. both sides are closer to 3” than 3.5”. Problem is that there isn’t a good alignment shop around me and they were annoying as it is. Maybe I will try to find a better alignment on my drive?

I see you are in Katy. That’s where we lived for about 10 years and I grew up in Spring Branch back in closer to Houston.

 

A question for everyone: after cleaning your Uni filter, do you lightly oil it or just let it dry and put it back on?

And I have my light bar behind the grill and in front of the transmission cooler. Tow my little utility trailer with my walk behind commercial mower every weekend during the summer, and to get a ton of wood pellets during the winter every few months, and can't say that I've seen any difference. Should be fine I think. At least at has been in my case.

 

Trying my hand at some shackles. No one offers a shackle length to keep me neutral with allpro expo leafs and hammer hangers. Only a 2006 tundra shackle gets you close but I wanted stronger. 1/4" plate, 1/4" wall Dom. 100% overkill.

Well it looks like this shop can't do anything right. They twisted the drivers side C/O and put the lower spring perch on the other one wrong, so I had to take those back so I could at least install them.

Then I found out they pressed in all but one bushing BACKWARDS when there's an instruction sheet included, and they can't press them back out without breaking them.

Now they're ordering a new set of Whitelines and hopefully they'll install those right, and then I may be able to drive my truck again. It's been sitting for 3 days on jack stands now.

On the bright side, I think I'm gonna pick up some JBA ucas if I can't get my caster as high as I want with the stock arms. I also ordered a 1 inch Toytec block for the rear (temporary) and I'll replace with Dakars when I wear these springs out hauling wood. Bought some Wheeler's u bolts to install with.
