Is this my Tacoma beeping or the Sony XAV-AX1000 (not 100)?

The volume of the beeping is constant. Happens whether the truck is on or off.

I can’t tell if it is coming through the speakers or in the dash somewhere.

No aftermarket wiring/electronics other than the stereo and the “upgraded” keyless entry to alarm.

Im going with the headunit. Sony likes to ship them with a bunch of unnecessary beeps/noises that you have to go in and disable.

My single din sony would beep for a few seconds if I didnt remove the faceplate upon leaving the truck. o_O

SON OF A... Trick's on me. I had a camper on my truck for a few months. When I sold it, I moved the CO/Smoke detector to under the drivers seat. Guess what battery is finally low...

That sound is the screen not closing completely from it opened position

My Pioneer 4200 , 4400 and 8400 all made that sound only on hot summer days when ambient temperatures exceeded 110° . The screen mechanism got stuck against the dash bezel

Nope. Fixed screen. Also, I solved the puzzle and posted before you.
