There is a noticeable difference. Mostly in the consistency of engage and disengage. I hear you can adjust the pedal to change the points where they occur but I never made an attempt. Also, if you ever find the need to intentionally slip the clutch, it is easier to do because now, the clutch plate position is directly proportional to the pedal position, all the time.

I can not speak to the gravity bleed. I had a helper pump the pedal. The pedal did stay down a few times and had to be pulled back up.

I might take you up on that, I live in Barrie. Any issues with your install, thinking hard about doing this tune. Overall I really love my truck, but it does have some quirky driveability issues!

I'm not sure what the intent was behind the damned thing, but I can't see how removing it would hurt anything (unless the nut behind the wheel is constantly dumping the pedal). Anyway, number 2 mod on my list behind OVtune.

Before I revive this horse, I do want to say the truck is massively improved prior to OVT. That said, I'm still getting worse mpg than no tune, and no, it's not a change in driving habits. I've tried multiple tanks on 87 base and 91 base (I can't track down any 93 in these parts), but my mpg is still not the 21+ it used to be. Same routes to work, etc., but I'm still waiting for the improvement in mpg so many others have reported. Is anyone else experiencing or has experienced this?

Again, I wouldn't hesitate to OVTune again. If I total my truck tonight and get a new one, I'd tune that fucker in the parking lot of the dealership. OVTune guy, my admiration and love for you know no limits. Just saying. Think about it. In the dark.

I was hoping for 2mpg, but I am up only about 1mpg. No complaints with the other benefits.

I have had the best MPG gains using the 87 FOB tune. As a side note, 65 MPH seems to be the magic number with stock gears and tire diameters. Once I start running 70 MPH or more, on the toll way, the MPG drops off drastically.
Of course all the old standbys also come in to play: steady acceleration, use cruise whenever possible, long steady run at constants speed on an open road will give better results than short stop and go runs in town, etc.

I made a trip today from Melrose Park IL to NW Ohio. I filled up just before I left and made a stop in South Bend. There was about 5 miles each way from the turn pike, into town and then back out. I also ran into bit of construction on the last leg, so the travel time is a little out of sorts.

Is there a dyno sheet buried in this thread somewhere for 87 FOB and 87 Base compared to stock?

Yes I'd like to see gains under the curve, AFR etc. I'm actually more interested in torque gains. Surprised there is no Dyno sheets.
