Lol they did have a bright blue but the girl friend picked orange ..

One year has passed since my 2018 SR5 purchase. I'm loving this truck more than when I first got it. It's such a fun vehicle to own. It's looking just as nice, if not more, than when I first got it. It ages well...

 

Working on deleting the chrome. Still need to get the headlights and fogs figured out, but here’s where I am so far...

 

For headlights you cannot beat the price and quality of DEPOT brand Pro style headlights. Think I paid $430 around a year ago and sold my Sports for over $300. I have the BD amber fogs but think I am going with the Toyota brand black led fogs for only $114 a pair

Thanks, that’s pretty much what I have planned - the Depo headlights and the OEM black fogs. Saving for them now.

 

Hey, why can’t you like both colors?

 

Gotta say I love my amber BD fogs but they are so bright that they are uselessly blinding in city driving. Awesome output for country roads and wooded paths. Those black oem led fogs (available in chrome for those wanting chrome) are a steal if they have good output. I have not read any reviews but I imagine they are better than the stock halogens. I really had no issues with the halogens but the amber looks so good on blue. I made the mistake of trying amber led bulbs in the stock fog housings. Worthless for light output.

A friend had a blue one back in the late 70's and it was a bad azz car. The only problem was it ran hot in town. It was fine on the highway. Seems like the radiator was in the rear window location. The GT is basically a newer version of the Pantera. That has got to be rare. I worked at a Ford dealer back then. Remember all those monster cars coming in for service. Another friend had a boss 429 Mustang then. Dont see them either.
