Edit: just Adding to djs post.
Most dealers warranty work has to be done by certified techs. So if the dealer you go to only has 1 or 2 certified in said area of expertise then you will wait longer. For example airbag recalls they have to be certified in airbags to perform airbag recall replacement. That said they may not follow that rule and it maybe a dumb rule persa. But just an fyi from a friend of many dealer techs.
I have friends at multiple dealerships for the last few decades. There all different in small ways.

Let's say my standard rate for a valve adjustment is 1.5hrs. The mfg might only give me 1 hr to do the same job for a warranty claim So yeah, it affects tech and writer pay.

For us, all technicians must be certified. Except oil/tire. It's always a challenge to balance the workload no matter how you look at it.

What temp should I have my dual zone fridge/freezer set to? Temp gauge is in the freezer portion so should I go with FDA regulations and set it 0°F?

in camp it seems like is would be much easier way to access stuff i usually keep in the glove box/center console - flashlight, knife, herb kit, etc. should i get one?

With the access it wouldn't work for my needs. It would be in the way. Maybe not so much for DC. With tinted windows, otherwise people are going to see all your gear.

I will say, i originally wanted an ACLB, wound up with a DCLB. One of the things i am happy about is the "hidden" behind-the-seat storage. I like my gear to be out of sight of peering eyes.

i have DC and probably wouldn't keep it kitted out all the time. i'm mostly interested in how it works for trips/camping.

i hate buying something that you think is going to be super cool and then finding out is works like shit.
