I'm going for fun but just for a quick long weekend. I'll be up by Harstad which is wayyyyy north compared to Alesund. I cant wait to just cruise around and see the country!

Yeah man it cuts great and will be perfect for trail use and around the house or occasional downed tree. Just need the hard cover and strap it to the roof rack.

Nice. I have a Stihl MS250, which is basically the same saw.

No worries. Stihl makes a nice chain file that takes the guesswork out of sharpening. It's a bit expensive, but I was sold after my first use.

So possible trip to Onslow beach at camp Lejeune next weekend for Father’s Day if i can Find a spot and it’s back open. If not maybe fort story but only thing open is the rv spots so not to keen but beach access .......or backup plan is green ridge Friday, sat night and Sunday depart hopefully spot 82 if we get there early enough Friday am or maybe spot 65 where we all took some pics a while back on the overlook of the canal. If anyone is interested let me know i think I get the first few nights for free. Plenty of room at both spots for multiple vehicles.

I didn't think there was anyone that went to Jacksonville voluntarily. Except me. And that's only because my family is from there.

LOL i have Heard Onslow is a hidden gem and cheap with decent beach access. Would really like to get out tot the beach but all the other spots seem crowded and the wife and kids aren’t as hard core as i am LOL.

I've never been to Onlsow Beach. Didn't even know it existed! We would usually got to Topsail or Atlantic when we were down there. Doesn't mean Onslow isn't decent, we just had no way of getting onto post at the time. I haven't been down there in years. A lot of them. I can't imagine that the "city" outside of post has gotten any nicer.

I would offer you up the land I have down there to camp on, but I have no clue what condition it's in. Duke Power is leasing it. They clear cut it, but haven't done anything beyond that. So it could be overgrown again. My uncle has been the one to check on things there...
