Aw man that's not what I want to hear lmao, I have gross shakes from take off, did the carrier drop still shakes, next are shims. really hoping shims get rid of the shake. Its pretty annoying.

You’re not the only one. I’m contemplating going to a double cardan or just going back to stock in the back.

Well apparently I wont be installing shims after all. Got an empty Amazon package in the mail today that should have had 2 shims in it

Seems like the majority of you guys have been ok though, so guess Im not too worried about it. But will still have to keep an eye on it

Yep, have a mild shudder on takeoff...option 2 & cb drop...
3 degree shims next & fingers crossed
So it’s hit and miss with shims fixing this?

500+ miles on the new leafs this weekend, ~220 of that on rough dirt roads.

Even fully loaded option 2 gave me more lift and a stiffer ride than I was hoping for. (Now Im wondering if my guesstimate of how much all my gear weights is off..) Good news is no bump stop hits :D

But at any rate, option 2 w/ no shims gives me very noticeable vibes at takeoff 5-15 mph and what feels like slight vibes at interstate speeds ~72 mph. Thinking I might drop to option 1 at some point, not sure if Ill also add shims then or not

Where are you guys getting your shims from. Realized after doing the Deavers I now have a slight shudder at takeoff as well.

Having my Icon Stage 9 kit installed on Thursday, thinking about changing out to option 2 before I take it in, I have this rack, boards and two dry cases mounted with basic socket set, screwdrivers, pliers in one and my Viair 88P in the other full time, then obviously more on the weekends when packed out with camping gear. What do y’all think? I will also have sliders and full RCI skids as soon as they are ready. Lol 27ECD1D3-F559-4A6A-9A0D-3757C2EC5DE1.jpg

What do you have in the front? Option 2 will raise the back end like 2-3" or so I believe. The stuff you listed isn't too much weight really.

I have RCI aluminum skids, and Bamf sliders but no additional weight in the bed and I'm running option 1.

Yeah until you throw a tent or a bunch more stuff on, or lift the front, I think you'd be stinkbugging with anything more than option 1
