What an amazing day yesterday! The rain held off and had a canoe rescue skills course.

 

Just booked a 3/4 day inshore charter captain is pretty confident we can catch some rooster fish.

While driving there was a huge belch of smoke and then he pulled over. I was so hoping that he had broken down, but he kept on going after sitting in a turn lane for a few seconds. I won't lie and say I wasn't disappointed when he kept driving.

 

They always have some cool cars in the parking lot or garage. I have a few contacts/friends there so I've ridden in a few Euro-only models that were over here. Scirocco and a Golf that was AWD and had the self-park feature (before it made it here). Also rode in an Amarok and the above Atlas. Driven the black Bug from the commericals (Max), and a few mint GTIs they were scooping up. Finally, they used a friend on mine's R32 for an "R" history tour to the national GRC races. That part was only cool because they left our VW club's decal on the back window. And while I'm bragging: one of the shirts in the VW Driver Gear catalog was designed by a co-founder of the club and mentions it.

I'm done. Sadly, I don't run with the local VAG crowd like I used to.
