that is not grey, that is a black one. and it is hot as f**k in the bed in the sun. peel open the sides or roll up the back and vent it

yea plus i would go with grey for my dogs sake in the summer.

 

I got back because I had some black already on the truck. But if I had any grey on it or the cement truck I bet it would look good.

You could always add the heat shielding. That’s what I’m going to do.

It doesnt much matter what color, soft or rigid cap , it's gonna be hot when it's hot and cold when it's cold.

Does anyone know the gauge of the brake line wire?

 

It still gets warm if youre directly in the sun, just like any kind of tent/enclosure. I imagine grey is better than black, but obviously couldnt say from experience.
