Toytec coilovers. Height adjustable Bilstein's. 265/75/16 MT. TRD wheels. Rebuilt r150f. Marlin clutch kit. All kinds of new parts...
187K. I have done quite a bit to this pickup.
    * Local transmission shop did a full rebuild on the 5 speed. Cost was $2800.
*New flywheel and Marlin Crawler clutch kit.
    *New slave, master cylinder, fluid
*Toytec adjustable Coilovers up front with Bilstein height adjustable shocks. Set at about 1.75-2" of lift if I remember right.
    *265/75/16 Hancook Dynapro MT tires.
    *Toyota OEM lower ball joints.
    *Napa suspension CV joints.
    *Xfer case drop kit.
*Manual locking hubs, manual windows, No locker
    *AC and heat work great.
    *NO cruise control.
*Timing belt, water pump, thermostat etc. replaced at Toyota of the Black Hills about 10K ago.
*spark plugs (Denso) plug wires and 2 of the coil packs replaced with Echlid (Napa) Coil packs.
*Cleaned the throttle body about 2 years ago.
*Runs absolutely great and goes down the road nice and straight.
*Has add-a-leaf I believe in the back. I am not sure what it is because it was on there in 2015 when I bought the pickup.
*Has usual bumps and bruises. Has some hail marks on it too. They were on there when I bought it.
    * I have a Flowmaster 40 series on there. I like the sound and it's not too loud. Sounds really good to me :)
Probably some other things. I really don't want to sell it and the only reason I am is to finance another project I am working on (Home related) and well, that's more important than my handy Taco at the moment. I am asking $10,000 at this time. Open to possible negotiations. Hoping to get into a 2nd Gen after the house project is done.

    * I fluid film before every winter season. Some of the stuff in the pictures is dirt that has stuck to the fluid film. This pickup came from Wyoming before I got it. The frame is in really good shape for being a cold weather climate. No information at the dealer of the frame ever being replaced or coated. However - I have taken great care in treating the rusted areas. It has some surface rust but not that bad at all. It's very clean considering.

Had you known it was an 01-04 dash when you bought it? If not, then hard to truly know your actual mileage. Not to be that guy, just curious.

I did not. I actually bought it from a local dealer in my area. This is the first 1st Gen Tacoma I have had. I would hope the mileage is actual but with my larger than the door sticker tires I would assume it's off because of that as well. Oh well :) She sure runs like she's got about 100K on her though :) I know I'll kind of regret selling it so if I don't I guess I'll look more into that.

There is always some interesting stuff to find when you buy a used vehicle. The previous owner put the TRD and the limited badges on my Tacoma. It is in Fact titled and SR5. Maybe they were just wishing they had a limited TRD version? lol It's partly there with the beefed up suspension I suppose ;)

Makes you wish they'd just left it as it was so you knew. Though if it was truly a TRD in those years, it'd have the factory rear locker. A dead give away to really its reality

Yes. I did notice that when I got it. Someone might of even repainted it I imagine. To put on all those Toyota Decals.

The plot thickens. haha It's a great pickup though. My wife doesn't want me to sell it!

putting this back on the market. For anyone interested please shoot me a message. It does in fact have a gauge cluster out of a 2001 model. I have the video proof of the swap. The gauge cluster that is in it has 10K less than actual but - with larger tires than stock it's probably off slightly. I'd say the truck has at least 200K + on it. I've done more to it since this post as well. Has different tires, OEM rack and pinion, JBA upper control arms (Front end all rebuilt within last 10K or). I wish I could keep it but financially I could use the money right now. NADA has it valued quite high. KBB is way too low so with that in mind give me your best offer.
