I gotta make a bunch of this.Does it matter what vinegar ??

I had a friend that used to spray the roadsides . He used to save all the leftovers a pint here and there .

Got hit on the head or heat stroke to often and Moved to California the weeds are going wild

I'm still on the fence about that weed killer. maybe my weeds are pretty hearty, but it doesn't quite kill em. Just makes brown spots. I sprayed two more gallons this morning.. we'll see what happens

I've made such a spray before. I didn't find it as wonderful as people chalk it up to be. But for vinegar, you just buy the cheapest gallons of white vinegar you can get. I wouldn't suppose white vs. apple cider or whatever would matter, just that its acetic acid at the right strength. But my experience was that, yes, you'll kill stuff... but it has no residual power. So by the time you make up 4-6 batches of it over the course of a season... the money you spend on all the vinegar adds up to about what you would spend on Roundup anyway.

Anyone else have a similar experience?

So far this is my experience. Certainly not living up to the hype for me yet.

Now this is an idea. It also works for other unwanted "weeds"

Does anyone want the chrome 3rd gen grill from my truck? It fell in the garage so it has some marks on it. It would be good if someone wants to try and paint a grill.

The really fucked up thing is we spilled a gallon peracetic acid at work one day and the grass grew like fucking crazy for the next like.. 3 years.

It did eat the limestone though.

While Fire and I get along quite well !

The idea of starting the mountain on Fire really has no appeal .

then we have not had a Good Fire on the Mountain for some time

It's just salt water. If you want to kill weeds use a real herbicide.

    Or used motor oil.

Oh I'll definitely weed whack. I was hoping to kill and have never return though. I'll try this method though
    I had a feeling you'd like that
I didn't think about opening it up. I'll try it again. But by now, I could have bout roundup or something. Whatever, I like the way vinegar smells! I got my vinegar from shoprite. Just plain ole white vinegar. That's what we used to use when we would mop the floors in our deli. A capful in a tub of hot water
