My name is Art. I'm from the Sacramento, CA, area.

Lol. I been creepily stalking this thread (OVTune 3.5L Tacoma Supercharger and Twin Turbo Systems) for quite some time now without being a member of TW.

I own a 2018 Tacoma TRD Sport 4x4 in Quicksand color. Haven't done much to it besides a lift, wheels, and tires. I've got a love and hate relationship with the Tacoma as an owner. Even almost after 1 year, I am still trying to love the truck.

Hoping OVTune can come out with a supercharger/turbocharger kit for this slow 3rd gen Tacoma asap so we can smoke some ecoboost F150s.

    Anyway, see you around guys.

    Welcome aboard :hattip:

I have loved my Taco from day one and wouldn't trade it for anything at this point. I have a love hate relationship with mine as well but for another reason......its black, LOL. I love keeping it clean but its a pain, and I know, its a truck.

Anyways, I've heard great stuff about the OVtune and hope to get it one day, just don't have the funds to throw at it right now. Good Luck and I hope one day you"ll love the truck as much as a lot of us do.

Glad to know I'm not the only one. Looks good brother. My only issue is really the the space and room inside (thought a lot about getting a full-sized truck before and even to this day). But I love the turning radius and ability to go through tight trails in thick brush.

If you want a truck but need a car - get a Tacoma.

LOL yup pretty much. Yeah room is tight and if I didn't care about MPGs as well (and again I know its a truck, LOL) I've might have sprung for a Tundra, but it helps when you're short and so is your wife and kids. Don't get me wrong, the space in a full size is great but just for daily driving, and like you mentioned getting through trails, its just too big.

I have a background in car sales at multiple dealerships. The law of the land and rule of thumb is Tacomas always retain the most value (depreciate the least). I've got no kids or need to drive anybody around yet so I figured owning a Tacoma as a commuter and toy would be worth my while until I found the need to upgrade. So in other words this purchase was my nesting egg without losing 50% of its value in one year.

Yup, another reason I got into a Taco, least depreciation. Sounds like you got it made right now brother. Enjoy your Taco, just remember its a truck, not a sports car. It won't get you there super fast but it'll get you to places and trails cars can't get to.

    Just 3 tons of fun!!!

Been daily driving my 1st Gen for 14 years. It doesn't get there fast, but it has always gotten me where I asked it to take me.
But I do think it's fun, every time I go to the mountains with my 3rd Gen buddies, I have to slow down and wait for them lol

"so we can smoke some ecoboost F150s."

One reason I did NOT buy another Ford and bought my Toyo. Ecoboost is a junk motor. They should have never stopped making the Triton.
