yeah i realized what i had done and had to get that down before i was tar'd and feathered!

 

What brass did you get? I think mine might have enough weight for now. I need some more wheel time before any more upgrades. Hoping the new body and servo winch parts arrive this week.

 

I got the c hubs and the portal covers. I have a few things in my ebay cart also but im waiting to see what deals ebay will have during the Amazon deal days

These i may try on Rex but they are for Slaughter.

 

Yeah those should work as long as the wheels are SLW hub compatible.

 

So you're keeping the plastic inner portals? I have not purchased the C-Hubs, but at this point, may be unnecessary for me. Frank kept talking me out of adding them, and he may be right. So far I've got the bumper mount, inner portals, outer portals/knuckles and front beef patties. GPM makes a high clearance link kit for the TRX, but looks like it might be the longer 12.8" wheelbase.

Got me some new tires, foams and a winch setup on the way, be ready for the next comp maybe get in the championship round this time??!?

hahahahahahahaha. Sounds about right!

 

Need to make a decision this morning on paint. Lots of trimming to clear the tires and with the bed being so deep, I had to trim around the rear shock towers. I also had to ditch the stock rear body post mount and rig up how to attach the body. Put another small hole in the hood for the free spool rod on the servo winch to poke through.

 

Blue with a white top?? Most pictures i see of the real ones seem to be an off white color.
