What's the going rate for Line-X these days?

Got quoted $450-500 for a short bed.

I seem to remember 300-350 not long ago?

 

I paid about $600 for the line-x with UV protection so it will stay black.

I got a bed mat for about $80 too.

I recently put the plastic protector back on the tailgate when
I was hauling a bunch of junk (including several cast iron
sinks) to the dump... my previous hauling around of some logs and
stuff slightly dented the front bed wall, easy to see when the light
is right...

I had my whole truck done with the premium, $2700

 

Mine was like 600.00

 

if they have to sand blast the bed for proper adhesion it will be more.

 

I paid around $400 locally a year or so ago. One of the best investments I've made to date.

 

Was quoted $600 through email when I described to them it was a stepside. Theres their "premium" one for $750 he said.

Looking to DIY it instead for less than $200.

It's an easy and straight forward process. I'm not sure I would expect it to hold up as long as a professional coating, but you could always reapply. I stripped the inside of my '85 4runner scuffed up the surface and used a DIY kit (2-3 gallons) I purchased from Autozone back in the day. I'm not sure it would have held up as well had I used the same process/product in the bed or a truck, but it worked great for my specific application.

 

Try a few different places, they are all independent and will quote you different prices based on their mood and how much work they have.

 

$530 here in Tucson, regardless of bed size. And we only have 1 LineX shop in town.

 

Can a product like this be used to liven up a pre existing rhino lining/line x, just to bring color back?

I use to apply a 303 product for luster and UV protection, but I do not like getting that product on anything I throw in the bed.

 

Shop in town wants 499 for just the inside of the bed and 150 for rails. What a rip off, my full size F250 bed was 600. I’ll most likely get it done out of state somewhere.

I said no thanks and did the Raptor liner. After all was done it costed me around $170? I also did over the rail and 1/2” down. I gained experience, saved money, and added another DIY to my truck.

 

Looking at doing this myself. Any videos that you found particularly helpful?

 

Are those 01-04 fenders?
