Thanks. I checked that dealer's inventory and they DO have the truck I am looking for.

Does yours have tech and premium packages? That makes a $3,500 difference in MSRP compared to based 18 DCSB TRD OR.

Try cars.com and use the filters

That’s an awful price. Especially with the orange interior, I’d tell them to take $2k off just for that ugliness.

No premium or tech. That color match rear bumper would look nice tho. You already get a good amount of cool stuff.

Way too high, I paid the early adopter fee in 2015 right when they popped on to the lot. I got my sport 6mt fully loaded for 36k otd.

They go for 2k under listed price up here.i was right around 31.6k for my OR tow package. The tech packages were another 1.5-2k if I remember

    Dealers are the worst...

Fun fact: I detail cars at a dealership! The so-called "paint sealant" and "fabric sealant" is just my department spraying the exterior and interior with a spritzer bottle of God knows what!

Welcome & as others quickly pointed out, NOT A DEAL. I Paid FAR LESS for my TRD OR with Prem Tech Pak. I would shy away from the BBP color, the Cement is an awesome choice in color. Toyota no longer offers this color for 2019 and this MAY be due to issue with the paint for some owners that had 2017 model paint defects, not sure about 2018.

I bought my 18 TDR OR auto with premium and tech package with bed mat and running boards in cement color for 36k flat. Good job not falling for it.

    @bigoldbeef

My parents bought their Odyssey minivan at Koons Honda more than 14 years ago. Sticker was almost $30K, but they got it for $24K BEFORE trade (this was in May 2004 and their trade was a 2000 GMC Safari conversion can with like 35K on the clock).

From my search so far, y’all VA guys have much more of a MT selection than us TX guys. Only a dozen or so new MT in the area, while y’all VA folks have close to a hundred.

Finding a MT truck from the Gulf States distributor is painful. When I was looking (June - July '17) there were none available in the trim I wanted (OR, tech + premium). I hopped on Autotrader, called the closest one I found (it was in Tuscon), verified it really was a MT, and bought a one way plane ticket. I probably should have negotiated more up front before buying the plane ticket, and made sure I had insurance first (would have saved some time sitting around at the dealer). Long story short, if you're particular about the trim and especially the MT, you should be looking anywhere in the US.

It really is. The manager I spoke to said GST doesn't really buy manual trucks - any manuals have to have been special ordered or bought from outside of GST. It really sucks. I see a bunch on the east coast.

Physically looking at in person? I had my eye on that one.

Thanks for the tips about BBP paint issues. That's pretty shocking. I've never bought a new vehicle before and would be pissed if the clear started failing after less than a year. Houston is not kind to car paint as it is...

And never trust anything they tell you about it to convince you otherwise.

I paid for it on my last vehicle because it was light tan leather. I could give two shits about the sealant and wanted it because it was accident insurance for the interior for 7 years that covered cracks, tears, stains, etc. I figured at some point I'd need it and it was great getting stubborn stuff cleaned up every time I went in for service. Well lo and behold, the seat bottom needed replacement from cracking and it was going to be roughly what I paid for the sealant. I figured it just paid for itself.

"oh sorry, this doesn't cover cracking, only cuts and tears"

I asked if I go put my knife through it, is that covered? She got super uncomfortable while the other customer there sort of laughed and said they gave him the same speech about what was covered. They basically told me to pound sand because while the literature says the stuff protects from cracking, it's apparently not warrantied.

As for OP, I think the baseline price for an MT should be around $32,500. Add the packages on and judge value from there because most I've talked to have been able to get down to around that price at the least.

When I was looking there were six-ish trucks on autotrader in the trim package I wanted that were MT. One in Oregon, one in Washington, one in Boston, one in Virginia, one (that was super sketchy) in Alabama, and the closest (and therefore winner) in Tuscon. I'm thankful it wasn't white.
