Have a '19 Tacoma that gave me this warning light. I was accelerating up a hill and lost all power. Also Trac and Engine light came on. Fortunately I was able to pull off the road and on re-start, all 3 warning lights came back on. Turned vehicle back off. After reading owners manual, this function causes the engine output to be restrained. On the second re-start the "Brake override malfunction" warning was gone but the check engine and Trac light remained. My acceleration returned and I was able to get the truck home. Will be calling dealership today. Any clues??

After a lot of reading, sounds like something that can randomly pop up even after the dealer fix. Seriously a scary thought especially if happens on interstate going 70mph in heavy traffic
