I have a 2006 with no center screen and would like to get a screen installed (double din) and also a front and rear camera system for parking. I am not sure if it would make sense to have an anytime switch system. Is there any you would recommend and a thread or installation guide you could guide me to that would be great. :)

I've been doing a lot of searching around for a double DIN stereo+ dual camera dashcam setup and haven't had any luck. There are a few head units out there that will take two cameras but it always involves extra wiring/switching. Really a bummer :(

I have a 2007 and I put a kenwood from crutchfield in mine, it is a double din and I put the popnlock tailgate latch on with a backup camera in it from camera source. It has an option for front camera but I haven't set one up yet. You will have to run some wiring but it's not that hard. Crutchfield sells a pre wired harness for the radio that let's you use the steering wheel controls.

I bought a lower end kenwood DDX575BT from crutchfield and installed a cheap Amazon micro cam for the front grill and also one for my popnlock tailgate. Works great for parking.

For the front, does OP mean an outside mounted camera or a dashcam which is what that H/U has?

I've been meaning to put in a rear camera too. I even have a cheap one, just been too lazy to do it!

The cameras are just standard RCA, so OP could swap in another back-up cam if prefered

It'll work to display either a dash cam or a front cam, in addition to the backup cam. I'm running the Kenwood Dnx996xr and using a Kenwood dash cam for the front cam slot and the factory rear cam. It is very easy to switch either on at any time.
