Long time lurker, fist time poster-
I searched around the forum, but seems to be a lot of options/info so I'm looking for advice.
Im looking for a simple bumper to mount a winch and offer minor protection. a bonus would be an attachment/lift point. I can get an ARB scratch n dent for half off, but I don't like the looks of the full protection going over the grill and lights.
I would like to keep it at or below $500

Im not an over lander or big off-roader. The rig is a daily drive that sees a lot of time in the mountains for hunting/camping/family stuff. The winch would be used for occasional log pulling for fire wood and pulling a rig out of snow.

    thoughts appreciated!!

I liked the Mobtown High clearance front receiver / recovery bar (also has d ring attachments) with a winch cradle... Put my second cooler on it with a rack on many a hunting trips. Very versatile

I actually took it off recently and its sitting in my side yard if you are interested, although it may be pricey to ship.

I have this bumper it’s a full replacement I’ve used it to winch folks out and myself without issue. For the price you can beat it , wait for a rare eBay sale to come along and get about 75-100 off. I’m using a smittybilt 9.5k winch for this whole Setup I’m in to for less than 750.

Nice truck. Im in Washington State. Not sure what shipping would be like. Ive never seen one of those. What do they go for new and how to they attach? The only thing I could see not hitting my "wants" would be minor protection. We have alot of deer/elk on our road and I like the look of the lower beefy bumper.
I suppose something like that would a allow me to not stiffen up my front suspension?

I really like the look of that. Is it heavy enough I would need different front suspension?

It is pretty heavy with both about 150lbs. You may sag about 1/2-3/4in. On stock stuff.

Thanks.... I think I paid somewhere around $400 shipped for mine about a year ago. The front receiver was awesome and I used it all the time, I liked it so much I had one put on my new plate bumper. I also daily my truck so didn't feel the need to tote around winch 100% of the time. Im heading out of town for an overnight camping trip but if your interested I can get a shipping quote when I get back. They attach in place of the factory aluminum crush bar behind stock bumper. You don't need to make any suspension mods for them.

I would also recommend a us offroad hidden winch style set up. They are clean functional and have recovery points.
