So I was going to put this post in the for sale section but figured it wouldn't do much good as it doesn't have anything to do with Tacomas or cars..... (Feel free to move/delete if needed).

Without going into too much detail, I have a bunch of fishtanks left over from when I used to breed cichlids back in the day (120g, 10g, 20g, 40g, 29g, 55g, and many more). I am looking to sell these tanks ASAP and will let them go for a good price. I am located in Westchester NY, so shoot me a PM if interested and I can give you more details/pics.

Cool thread! I would love to have a large salt water reef tank, but the maintenance is beyond my ability. Bissides, I think the ambient temperature inside my house swings too much to keep a tank.

I dont have any current photos of my tanks as they are all in stages of taken apart, but I built custom nano tanks.

I was in the process of building a fish room, but medical complications stopped that for now.
(all fish are currently in my 55 gallon till the other tanks are ready and cycled)
    The fish room has:
    1 55 gallon (bristlenose plecos)
2 20 gallon tall (galaxy rasbora tanks)
12 gallon long (scarlet badis tank)
a few custom nano tanks for pretty shrimp
    5 5.5 gallon betta tanks
and a few misc other tanks I had kicking around.

Here are some of my past nano tanks.

3.7 gallon cherry shrimp tank, based off a old 2.5 gallon (no the copper does not touch the water, there is silicone hose that runs inside of it for the co2 system).

5 gallon tall, also based on a 2.5 gallon tank.

It's been a long ass day moving my 75G from Prescott to Vegas. All fish survived the trip and are now settling in and seem to be stress free.
When I rolled into Vegas I stopped at Petsmart for air line tubing and a new background. I totally forgot about the background :anonymous:. Do you know anything about that?
I can't get one of my Fluval 306 to siphon so I'm glad I brought my 206. I'll work on it tomorrow.

Haha damn backgrounds! I’m going to paint mine when I do my 50% water change. I’ll be able to pull it out from the wall just enough to be able to tape the rim off and get a roller brush back there

I thought about painting this one before setting back up, but didn't have time. I have other tanks that I've painted and like it alot.

I probably will just go with a dark ish blue. My gravel is black and blue so it looked good with my shitty background that is all messed up currently

I have that same background on another tank and it has the same look. I think it looks great.

Ya I really like the dark blue. If I could actually apply that vinyl properly and make it look good I’d prefer that, but painting it should look just as good and I can’t tear it off on accident when moving things around

Cool tanks guys, keep the pics coming!

Here's current set up- 125g (72"x18"18) Planted with Vallisneria sp.('grass'), Echinodorus sp. ('Amazon Sword'), Cryptocoryne wendtii 'bronze') Anubias barteri. Plus lots of snails.
I run a 48" LED for ~12hrs and a pair of 24" LED that come on for ~6hrs in the middle of the day.
Water filter through 15g of 'lava rock' bio-media in a 40g sump, circulated @600gph. In-tank pumps and hang-on-tank filter provide additional water movement. Auxiliary bio-support comes by way of a 2nd hang-on-tank filter on the sump and air-stones to prove counter-current flow/turbulence within the lava rock bio-media chamber. The reservoir and sump are on carts and plumbed with 6' of flexible hose to aid with maintenance. A water line was plumbed in to deliver tap water to the reservoir.
    upload_2020-10-1_22-29-11.jpg
The 40g overflow-sump (below right) and 55g reservoir (blue tank) for water changes.image1.jpg
Last but not,,, well actually it is the least- voluminous desktop nano. Only plants (and snails) in there right now but would be perfect for a betta. I like how the java moss grows right over filter box. The much cat-abused Philodendron is also finally starting to reestablish itself.

Tank seems to be cycling ammonia well. Dropping about 2ppm every 12 hours or so. Nitrites have yet to show up, hopefully I’ll see them tomorrow or Sunday :fingerscrossed:
