Home-built roof rack for spotting platform and/or kayaks & bikes & stuff. Home built bed drawers Firestone Ride-Rite airbags on the rear for level camp trailer towing
Our local Hardware sells "riv-nuts" - like these:
    https://www.google.com/search?q=rivnut

The Tacoma bed is glass reinforced resin that is easy to drill and drop riv-nuts into - that's what holds down my bed drawer system:

Changed cabin and engine air filters, which weren't horrible but not sure when they were last changed.

Then @chiefcrunchy came to the rescue with a color match bumper to replace the one the deer took out three days after I bought the truck. I had already replaced the bumper supports and headlight and grill so this was the last step in getting back to the state in which I purchased her.

Since my bumper is off for painting I decide to replace my radiator support mount bushings. They definitely needed it.

    https://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B000CN9BZ0?psc=1&ref=ppx_pop_mob_b_asin_title

    https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/polyurethane-radiator-support-mounts-cab-also.361346/

One was super super easy. The other... something was warped. Had to use a pry bar to get the damn bolt in.

None of my truck projects recently have gone as smoothly as they could have.

You sanded?! Nice job, I heard oven cleaner takes chrome off.
I'm going to put it to the test.

You should be engaging your 4x4 more often and the e-locker if you have it.
Time without using them takes an expensive toll!

I had read that as well. Tried it on my grill emblem with no luck. I ended up using Duplicolor adhesion promoter primer and it has held up well so far, though it's only been about 5 or 6 weeks. It does specifically list chrome as one of the things it will work on though.

When I did my BHLM I put both of my bezels in the sink and soaked them with oven cleaner. One of them came out perfect (no chrome left), but the other one looked just the same as it did before I sprayed it. I resprayed, but no amount of cleaner would affect it.

    I dunno.
