Where is everyone in here ordering the bearings for the s/c tensioner from?

 

I feel like genuine Toyota OE parts are still built with quality and care where as other brands are built like garbage and just designed to move them off the parts department counter with ill regard to QA and QC.

I am. Very happy with it.

 

I got them from my local parts store. Dirt cheap plus my work already has an account with them so I get a few bucks off each bearing plus they deliver too.

 

Youre stilling using the stock fan clutch right? Any fitment issues or was it just a bolt on the pulley and go type deal?

Also you running a 2.5?

 

I have since drilled some 2" holes in the shroud with flaps to allow better airflow at speed.

 

To be honest I didn't check the final fit. Everything is fine. 2.5 yes. Just make sure to view my pictures on page 1 @12TRDTacoma posted for us. Trimming with a grinder is mandatory. If you have an angle grinder it takes a couple minutes.

The beauty of the inside doesn't matter all the time.
Cfm is what wins.

I like those blue silicone hoses. Where did you get them puppy's from?

 

I believe hps makes the best.

 

Yes they are HPS.

 

He got ‘em from me! What did you do to make them fit right?

 

Probably used clamps. They hold coolant much better that way.

 

Top one fit fine. The bottom one is trimmed where I have my Efan thermostat then just a few inches of stock hose at the lower radiator outlet.
I'll really piss you of when I pull the sc for the fuel rail install. I'll install the other two HPS heater hoses then.
