Rear Passenger Window will not move - Replaced motor and switch - still fails - Ideas? - 2014 DCSB

    Rear passenger window was stuck down.

    I checked the fuses, replaced the rear passenger window motor and it starting working again.

    It was good for a month and got stuck up for a second failure.

    I checked the fuses and just tried replacing the drivers power window switch panel and still no luck with the window operating.

    The rear passenger switch will go down but not back up. So right now the windows is about an inch down.

    Any good further troubleshooting ideas to share? Thanks.

    The rear door switch panels are the same. Swap them and see what happens.

    Seen corossion on those rear switches plenty of times. Like above said, swap the switches side to side and see what happens. Next time try that first

    Also check for corossion on the connector

    After giving the switch hell it went back up, but now stopped operating again. Thanks, will try the switch swap this weekend.

    Tonneau cover, Black exhaust tip, blacked out badges and tailgate lettering. Black rhino(glamis)18x9 wheels with +12 offset. LT265/70/18 Toyo Opencountry ATIII. Metaltech 4x4 rock sliders Cali Raised lower grill light bar/mounts TRD Pro Skid, DD Fogs(pro), Ironman 4x4 FC pro lift.
    In the meantime have someone engage the rear switch to go up while doing the same at the driver switch.
    Had this happen a few times on my 2007 taco and that got the window back up.

    Had same problem. Take apart the switches and clean the contacts.

    swapped the rear door window switches and all switches are now working. Go Figure! You would think on a tough truck like this the switches would not be so unreliable for such a critical component of the truck. Going to take them all apart and clean the contacts except for the drivers door which is brand new. Thanks for everyones help, all the suggestions couldn't have been more helpful. Thank you.
