Yeah 4-5 years is my goal for build age and I’m over 5 years now so it’s time.

 

Very similar to mine. I’m running an i7 4790k, 32GB Corsair Dominator Platinum, and an EVGA GTX 980.

Mine is definitely showing it’s age too. I’m really hoping this case swap will solve my grounding issues.

 

You want my Z97 LGA 1150 platform? It’s starting to show it’s age. It won’t be much of a step up from your current setup. I built this computer Winter of 2014.

 

I built mine winter of 13. Upgraded the graphics card a few years ago. It still games at 4K. But she’s showing her age.

I'm rolling with a i7 6700k, 16gb DDR4, GTX 980Ti. I also have a weird hobby of fixing up old Dells. Like I have an Inspiron 530 from 2009 that I did a LGA771 to 775 mod on to run a Xeon server CPU. Then flashed a modified BIOS from a newer model Dell to support that CPU without constant crashing.
