So I'm wanting to put 285, under my taco. These are the wheels I'm looking at, https://www.amazon.com/Pro-Comp-All...ds=6x139.7&qid=1565374841&s=automotive&sr=1-2
Hopefully won't rub too band and only require plastic cutting.(stock uca) But, idk how far they will stick out, and in WV sounds like the rules are pretty strict and silly about flares and tires and all that. What did you guys do about flares? My taco is Spruce Mica, so idk how well black flares would look. But who knows. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

(maybe this is in the wrong section, but I didnt get a response in the tires and wheels sections so here I am, sorry)

Yea, I'm in the same boat, but I've just been cruising with them poking out a bit an no issues so far. I was told MA was super strict on that as well so maybe I've just lucked out. I thought about bushwackers but they only add like a half inch over the factory flares. If it becomes an issue I'm just going to pay up and get glass fenders, probably +2"

I ran 285's without any issues. Cab mount, maybe some inner fender trim but there is plenty of room for 285's in terms of flares. You will not need +2 or cutting fenders until you get closer to 34-35

    what offset is the wheels?

I just bought some 285s with level 8 MK6 17x9 with a -12mm offset with stock UCA's. No rubbing on the UCA or cab mount. Just some on the inner plastic fender liner.

They stick of on the wheel well about half an inch.

4.3 BS -10 17x8.5 Ray10s when I was running 285's so plenty good stance too. If you keep with stock you will prob want to run spacers.

Before I switched they could stuff pretty well. Here has all the liners but no mud flaps, CMC done and pinch weld but you prob don’t need that.

Then give yourself 3 degrees of castor and your good.

I don't think they'll stick out of the wheel well, but they might rub more than mine on the inner fender and you may need a CMC.
