Gambling, Music, Bourbon, etc. Maybe do the bourbon trail and try some different bourbons and see how they're made, enjoy the outdoors with some Kayaking, Hiking, Scenery at Red River Gorge, etc. If you all need any info or questions shoot me a PM and i'll try to help ya out the best i can!     You're only about an hour and 15 minutes from the bourbon capital of the world....Bardstown. Cool place. Very old

    And if you do go to Bardstown....drive a few miles out 245 to Jim Beam. Also, there's a beautiful nature preserve out that way called Berunhiem Forest.

    Sometimes I say Bardstown instead of Clermont since they're so close. My grandfather drove a truck (18 wheeler) for JB out of Clermont for 30+ years.

    There's a train that runs from Bardstown to Clermont. Several passenger cars where they serve a fantastic dinner while you ride. It's turn-around point is just behind Beams Clermont facility. The old train, and the old station house where it makes the turn were used in the filming of the movie "Stripes".

    If you ever find the time, the "Bardstown Dinner Train" is worth the time!
