I've been at the forum reading thread by thread about tires t, lots of answer but it doesn't satisfy me. I'm new at this so please be patience with me.

I have TRD Sport 17 DCLB
front suspension 5100 with 887 (I have spacer for the taco lean)
    back suspension OEM
OEM wheel trd sport 17x7.5 +30

just want to know the size of tires I can use without rubbing or slightly rubbing.
tires I can fit with little mod too.(cutting a little at my fender)

thank you for anyone who will reply.

    265/70/17 fit easily

Larger than that typically requires cutting and / or massaging.

This or the Pizzia cutters, then you can get into 33. 255/80/17 I think goes no issue.

Updated mine just as you posted, had to go look at that size again. Honestly I keep wondering if I should have done that with all the freeway I have been getting for work. 200-500 miles a day is a bit crazy but should end soon

    Yep

    Yep

Like those guys mentioned, a bunch of us have 255/85/16s and it’s been a great way to get 33s on a stock 3rd Gen suspension (255/80/17 is the same total size but more wheel / less meat on the tires)…..with no trimming / chopping whatsoever.....and the spare tire fits under a short bed without having to move the bracket (you might have to do some finagling with your long bed, a few have made it work)

This is a important point, I went 285/70:17 and fitting the spare tire was a pain in the ass. You have to bend brackets. Also the 285 sucks on freeway, wasn’t an issue when I got it but recently work has me driving a lot

others might be able to better explain, but from what i have read, pizza cutters are large but thin tires. so they arnt as wide as normal tires and will require less to work to fit since they wont reach as far out when fully turned. again, others might be able to better explain.

Thinner taller tires lovingly called Pizzia cutter because they are 33 but thinner then most 33s. Arguments all over but they seem liked by those that have them, just a term for the look although I think they look good. Maybe minor trim or cut but last 3 people I saw said no trim or cutting with those.

So I did 2.5 lift and out on ko2 285/70/17 with higher plys for tougher off-road use. Yes the ride is worse. This is with fox and icon gear. I drive a good bit of freeway and the control of the car is worse and now there is vibration, I’m suppose to be transitions back closer to home so I’m keeping it but if I had to drive with the current setup long drives all the time I would have keptstock. That said I did a 13 hour drive up to a few national parks a few weeks back and it was fine, just not as comfortable as the stock setup which I really liked. Again this is with new suspension, 2.5 lift, and 285 tires. Sorry no experience in winter yet. Put them on start of summer and we haven’t gotten anything but rain. All that said I have a bumper coming that I think may help as I have stiffer spring on it currently to prepare for the bumper.
