I'll check this when I can but I have to borrow the girlfriends phone as she is the one with apple. I'll let you know when I have an answer.

Yeah I hadn't actually checked 20 hz until you mentioned it as I hadn't seen that spec so it's good to know it's better than that.

I will say the previous pioneer NEX 8000 I had sounded better but by a very small margin. This Android radio does so much more and looks so much better it's easy to get over that small differential in sound quality.

    Thanks guys!

My rear cams is in the mirror, and I don’t have oem navigation either so I’d just be using the one it comes with like you OP.

I have separate aftermarket amps and wiring with rca’s to all my speakers and subs so it looks like I can just connect those to the units pre-amps and then just the oem harness for power, steering controls, etc...

I think I’ll go with the $450 dasaite one to have some headroom for the future and CarPlay isn’t too important to me as I’d 99% just use Bluetooth.

Main attractions to this unit are:
    -Elegant screen
    -obd2 connectivity
    -offline gps
-web / online multimedia access through my phones hotspot because that’s just luxury man!

Tough to take a picture of due to the piano black finish but here's my attempt

I have all speakers and sub going through an amp running to stock stereo. Wonder if I can just plug and play and leave as is or if I should use the pre outs on these units.

Also, is there a difference between 2013 and 2015 harnesses? Looks like the one on the first page says it's 2005-2013 models.

@jpereira2 I'm not sure I see exactly what you mean by runny paint but it looks the same as the unit I received. The aftermarket units never have the same quality as oem finishing unfortunately.

@jr49 I am running my setup through the RCA outputs and it works well enough but I did have a bit of noise through them at first. I had to turn the amp gains down and then the headunit volumes up through the system settings and it was good enough at that point. There is only a single RCA for sub out so you would need a y cable. My recommendation would be to just plug and play with the setup you have and if there are any issues or reasons to change you always can in the future.

@cromag27 here is the top level Seicane unit but they also sell units with lower specs as well. All up to the buyer to decide what is worth the cost.

    https://www.seicane.com/2005-2013-t...usic-support-swc-dvr-carplay-dvd-player-h2109

Here is the Dasaita unit, fyi low ball them on the offer and work up. 415 seems to be the going rate.

    https://www.ebay.com/itm/Android-9-...-Radio-Dash-Kit/254286280969?fits=Make:Toyota

There are also various other version of this same head unit on DHgate, a Chinese whole sale website.

So far they've offered me 20 bucks back. I'm asking for a new bezel.

How do you measure for it? Doesn't it have to be seated? Currently attempting my install. Also any idea on what size screw?

I set the radio and bezel in without the clips but with the brackets bolted in place. Then I took a pen and traced the bottom of the radio on to the brackets. I when through the ac switch opening.

This worked pretty good for me.

Yup ended with only one unused lol climate control was two of them. But it's in. Definitely need to figure out mirroring without using easy connect cause I want to play movies lol
