Falken wildpeaks/ Helo 878 wheel question.

Hey guys, super new to the wheel game.. usually was hugely against aftermarket wheels just because of price reasons.

Looking at getting these
Falken Wildpeak AT3W all_ Terrain Radial Tire-265/70R17 115T- These are B-rated tires so 4 ply, is that decent for a truck that is 90% onroad, and the offroading is very very mild around here.

Wondering if this combo will work on a stock 2016 toyota sr5. Can I go a little bigger with the tires? Planning on doing a 3"/1" or a 2"/1" lift on the truck also in the future.

 

Wildpeaks are good tires, Im currently running them. Just make sure they offer you fee balancing for life on them because some people have had trouble balancing these.

 

@Wixo I'm going to be ordering them offline. Would I talk to the tire shop who is going to be mounting them about that? And do you think the 4-ply B rated is a good idea or look for atleast a 6ply?

 

I've heard the lower ratings wear fast and have balancing issues, I have E rated so I cant confirm that but there's a whole thread about it

 

Yeah I would ask if they're going to offer you the free balancing/rotations for the life of the tire. Idk how much you're saving online, but 5 tires wildpeaks in the 4-ply cost me $780. Its definitely worth getting them at the shop with the balancing/rotations included.

As far as 4-ply being a good idea, I like them since im like your, 90% on the road and only a little offroad. I do use them pretty hard some times, but not rock crawling hard. You'll be happy with em.
